By accessing or using ReefDeck ("the Service," "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ReefDeck is a personal logbook application for reef tank hobbyists. It allows you to record, organize, and visualize data you enter about your aquarium. It is the digital equivalent of a notebook or spreadsheet.
ReefDeck is not an aquarium advisor, diagnostic service, expert system, or professional consultation. It does not provide advice, recommendations, diagnoses, or guidance of any kind. See our full Disclaimer for detail.
In the free tier, all data you enter (water parameter readings, coral inventory, journal entries, settings) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your own device. ReefDeck does not transmit, collect, or store this data on any server.
You are solely responsible for backing up your data. Use the Export function regularly. Browser storage can be cleared by your browser, operating system, or device. ReefDeck is not liable for data loss.
In a future Pro tier, cloud storage may be offered under a separate agreement with explicit consent.
You may use ReefDeck for personal, non-commercial reef keeping. You may not:
ReefDeck is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data you store will not be lost.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ReefDeck and its operators shall not be liable to you for any damages of any kind arising from or related to your use of the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, harm to aquatic organisms, financial loss, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Your use of ReefDeck and any actions you take based on data it displays are entirely at your own risk.
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use of ReefDeck after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
You may stop using ReefDeck at any time. In the free tier, simply clear your browser storage to remove all data. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
